Only recently started going to the pool and I had some trepidation however everyone has made me feel welcome and helped me with my fitness journey. Jane is a godsend and is putting me on the right track to get healthier and fitter. I cannot thank her enough for getting me back out there. The pool is always well maintained, staff are helpful and will chat and answer any queries you may have. The gym is modern and the equipment is very techie but I have cracked it, not bad for an old girl lol. I do not feel that anyone is judging me and how I look, it is the complete opposite. I recommend this leisure centre to anyone who is thinking of starting their journey toward better health and just going to the pool is a good first step. Also, the latte after my swim is the icing on the cake.

Been coming here for around 13 years and it’s a great place for kids to learn how to swim and the gym facilities were also upgraded a couple years back too.I would recommend to come here for swimming and the gym as they also have amenities that other gyms don’t have such as a sauna.

I have been referred to the centre for medical reasons. I will admit that I was sceptical about going back to a leisure centre but have found that Retford is an exception. The staff are very welcoming and I have found that going back is definitely a positive experience.The equipment and facilities appear to be good and well maintained and I am looking forward to regular of the centre.Hopefully you will find that you have a good experience when you attend this centre.

Came here for a swimming competition, I helped out, and the kids had a great time. Great venue for the event, they even had lights in the pool!

Very decent to swim in an nice and cool pool after working out in the gym where it’s a good place to have a dive and doing such breathstrokes and doing arm windmills for my water exercise especially survival

If I was to rate this place on the staff alone it would be 5*....the gym is well ran and a friendly atmosphere... the laned swimming is a free for all ..I was lucky in that I had a friend who told me the etiquette of laned swimming which was fortunate because Once your past the door no one gives a chuff...I guess it's typical of laned swimming I did try to ask about the numbers allowed in once but it was obviously falling on deaf ears I mean I'm just a regular paying customer once they have my money I suppose I lose the right to raise a concern

This has a well equipped gym with a selection of classes as well as the pool. The staff are helpful. I only have two whinges. Number 1 Membership is pretty expensive even if you are sent via referral £30+ and 2 not enough aquasize classes. There are lots of people with joint problems and they definitely need a fairer system than wait by the phone and pounce for a space

A great place to exercise and met new like minded people. The staff are marvelous and always there to help you. It's a lovely friendly place and you can buy a drink with your new friends when you've finished.

Great, clean, friendly, fully stocked gym. Plenty of classes run by professional staff. Carpark can get full, but there are plenty of quiet times.

Clean in the pool and locker rooms. Not over crowded during lap swimming or family swim. The chlorine level wasn't too bad either. Normally my eyes sting for ages afterwards but I was able to swim for an hour without goggles with only mild mistiness. Reasonably priced.

I take my grandson to his swimming lessons. I sit and watch in the spectators gallery. There are lots of seats but l have only seen one area where a wheelchair could go

Very professional, friendly and helpful staff. Something for all levels of fitness, age and activity preference. Some classes get booked up quickly and there is a waiting list. Maybe new or extra classes could be put onto cope with higher demand or facilitate times for different lifestyles. On sunny days the main room upstairs can get very hot, due to the present lack of shade for the sun roof. No lockers upstairs to the best of my knowledge.
