Good gym and good equipment, even enjoy the variety of classes but the cleanliness in the showers and changing rooms for the gym is going downhill. The floor tiles are filthy and there's always mucky standing water around the changing rooms.

Used the gym here for a week whilst in the area, really well equipped gym, great staff (especially Gav who was very welcoming and friendly) very clean too. Would have been 5 stars if there was some fruit for sale at the front.

I have been to several gyms in area but hoyland leisure centre ticks every box no matter what your looking for classes gym pool they have something for everyone young or old and Paul is an amazing guy and listens to your needs

Our daughter has been having swimming lessons for a while now. Instructors are good, but recently she's been instructed by Andrea. Andrea is absolutely brilliant. No nonsense, friendly but firm, and it's great to see how the kids respond to her. Progress made under Andrea's instruction has been phenomenal.

Cannot fault the facilities and staff, bit my grandson goes fie swimming lessons on Monday mornings. I'm always there to watch him, but it's becoming a bit monotonous. Since thd new teacher has joined, they don't seem to do anything different. She throws toys in for them to colkect, and that's it... 🫤🫤

I go to aquacise twice a week with a brill teacher natasha.she is excellent I'm not very sporty but I enjoy these sessions.i feel a big difference

Visited to attend a model railway exhibition.The building is quite small inside, but the facilities available seem to fit in comfortably.The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Clean modern gym, lots of equipment available and a pool.note: the pool has a schedule so you can only swim on certain days at certain times, you can find all the information on their website.

Love this place! It’s relaxed, calming, spotlessly clean and got great facilities. The pool is huge, supervised and there are set days/times for Lane swimming, family times etc.. Highly recommend.

I love this place I haven't been swimming for over ten years because I'd put some weight on and wasn't confident enough to go swimming... so I do both the gym and swim now and other day when I got in the water it felt amazing... such a great swimming pool with very attentive lifeguards.

Great sports centre, my space gym is very well equipped, people are very friendly who use the gym. If you have questions on workouts the staff are more than willing to take time with you & help you along your way to reach your goalsYou can access & book all activities on the my space app👍

My son and I visited the leisure centre on Sunday March 20th for the northern invertebrates show. We had a fantastic time talking to the staff and organisers of the event. The vendors at the show were brilliant as we knew they would be. The leisure centre is a lovely place

My grandson and I really enjoyed our visit to the swimming pool. The cafe is really good serving hot and cold food and drinks. There are seats both in and out doors. The changing room and showers are clean and well equipped. You need a £1 coin for the locker. There is a large and a small pool the water is quite warm. We went for the fun swim in the school holidays so It was busy and full of children having a good time but the life guards were brilliant and kept the fun safe. We will be back.
