Welcome to the FANS (Gifted and Talented Fund), a dedicated initiative to support the dreams and ambitions of local elite athletes in our community. We recognise the immense talent and potential within our community, and our goal is to provide financial assistance to athletes who strive for excellence in their chosen sports.

About the Fund

The FANS Fund is a unique opportunity for elite athletes to receive financial support for their athletic journey. With a focus on inclusivity and empowerment, we aim to remove financial barriers that may hinder athletes. Eligible athletes can apply for a FREE Your Space gym membership!

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the FANS Fund, athletes must meet the following criteria:

  1. Sport England Registration: Applicants must be registered with Sport England.
  2. Coaches Reference: A reference from a certified coach endorsing the athlete’s dedication, commitment, and potential.
  3. Recent International Representation: Athletes must have represented their Home Country or Great Britain Team within the last 12 months.
  4. Current Squad Membership: Athletes should hold current membership in a Home Country or Great Britain Squad.

How to Apply

If you meet the eligibility criteria, we encourage you to apply for the FANS Fund. The application process is designed to be straightforward, ensuring that talented athletes can access the support they need. To apply, please submit the online application form, including details about your athletic achievements, financial needs, and how the funds will be utilised to support your ambitions.

Our selection committee will carefully review each application. Successful applicants will be notified, and funds will be disbursed.
